Sudanese Romanian economic forum kicks off PDF Print E-mail

Khartoum, Feb. 21 (SUNA) The first Sudanese Romanian forum has kicked off , Tuesday , at Al Salam Rotana Hotel.
The forum organized by the holding company of Petro Lines for Pipes and Engineering Works under the auspices of the Minister of Oil, and the participation of the Romanian ambassador to Khartoum , 27 Romanian companies and a number of concerned ministries .

The Minister of Oil Dr. Awad Ahmed Al Jaz has affirmed that the forum has attracted the concern of the Sudanese people particularly for the long Romanian history in the field of the oil industry and constructions, expressing hope for mutual benefits.He indicated that the Sudan's doors are open for the Romanian investment in all fields, referring to the six oil squares presented by the ministry of oil for investment, inviting , in the same time the Romanian companies to provide its technology and experiments.Dr. al jaz , added that the Sudan and Romania witness new chapter in their relations including both the public and private sectors, hoping that the forum would witness the signing of agreements and partnerships for the enhancement of relations between the two countries.On his part, the general director of Petro Lines Company, Gen. Nasrul-Deen Mohamed Ahmed, affirmed that Sudan looks forward for a practical economic outcomes by the signing of agreements between the two countries, adding that the forum will enable the Romania party to presents its fields of work. The representative of the Romanian Union for Chambers of Commerce indicated that the Romanian delegation taking part in the forum which includes different specializations will deliberate to reach economic cooperation, referring that her country considers Sudan as an important country in Africa with which Romania intends to promote its relations in the fields of petrochemical industries, oil , gas, electricity and construction , affirming readiness of the union to cooperate with the Sudanese businessmen union in all spheres.The deputy chairman of the Sudanese Businessmen Union, Nasrul-Deen Saeed, considered the forum a sign from the Romania Republic to its companies to work in Sudan, and to resume its normal relations with Sudan, affirming determination of the union to work for the enhancement of the economic relations between the two countries.
The Romanian Ambassador to Sudan, Dr. Amil Guda Misko, has described the forum as an opportunity for strengthening relations on the levels of the state the businessmen and companies, referring to the deeply rooted relations between the two countries.
