A diplomat: Saudis Have Investments in Sudanese Oil PDF Print E-mail

Khartoum (smc) - Sudanese consultant works for Sudan’s embassy to Saudi Arabia Abdel Aziz Mohamed Abu Talib said a number of Saudi investors are involved in Sudanese oil business.

Saudi based AL Sharuq newspaper Sunday quoted Abu Talib by saying that” Sudan is expected to restart commercial crude oil export after three years from now.”  He adds that group of investors are working on logistical and oil infrastructures in Sudan .Moreover Abu Talib told the Saudi newspaper that the two countries (Sudan and Saudi kingdom) are cooperating in copper, gold and silver mining. He noted  that business  trade between the two countries have not affected by south Sudan secession citing that animal export to Saudi Arabia  recorded 2.5 million head.
