Khartoum, Feb. 20 (SUNA) In comment on the announcement of the Equality and Justice Movement (JEM) on the release of the UNAMID troops,

the Spokesman of the Armed Forces Al Sawarmi Khalid Saad has affirmed in statement to SUNA that the detention and release of the UNAMID troops by the (JEM), Monday evening, without any military operations aims at portraying Darfur as insecure, after many circles have announced Darfur as secure and there is no need for the existence of the UNAMID troops in the area, and called for the convocation of the tripartite mechanism of the Sudan, the African Union, and the United Nations in the coming month in Addis Ababa.
