Khartoum (SUNA)- The Wali (governor) of Eastern Darfur, State Maj. Gen. Mohamed Hamid Fadlalla, has affirmed the importance of providing services and development and protecting the state from rebellion on the south front.

He urged the native administration in the state to form permanent committees toward containing any problems and tensions. He said that the war era is now over and the development era has come, promising to provide work opportunities for the youths.Addressing aceremony held by the people of Eastern Darfur State to receive him on the occasion of his appointment as the Wali of the State, Maj. Gen. Fadlalla has affirmed the importance of establishing border check points to ban smuggling so that the people of the state can benefit from the resources of the state.
